The Question That Changed it All

Back in 2007, I was asked a question by a friend, “What is one thing that would change it all?”. That question stuck with me. In fact I couldn’t get it out of my head. I immediately began asking myself that question over and over again and making the answers into personal goals.

I would say to myself, “What is one thing that would change it all?” Then I would go do that. Many times seeming completely impossible and inconceivable, but I just kept working at it and here’s what happened…..

~ A kid that had a 1.8 GPA (D+ average) his sophomore year in high school, went to grad school and achieved a Masters in Business Administration.

~ I moved across country (USA) to start a business with less than $1000 and an old Chevy pick-up truck.

~ I moved again across the USA (same old truck, but the opposite direction) with $1100 to follow my dreams to learn about business and real estate.

~ I started my first business with $0 having success the first year and going broke the second year.

~ I refused to give up.

~ I started my first online business with the dream of making money online and traveling the world.

~ I moved to Costa Rica to live on the beach and traveled all around Central America.

~ I moved to Peru.

~ I started sustainable farm project to feed malnourished children in Peru.

~ I moved to Spain.

~ I walked a 500 mile pilgrimage across Spain raising money to release slave children in Ghana.

~ I live the life of dreams everyday while working online, traveling the world and helping others. This is now my mission.

In 2011 I decided I wanted to impress this question upon the world though a blog/podcast and website. To inject the question into the lifestyles of others as much as possible. To get others to ask themselves “What is one thing that will change it all?” and then going after that dream.

Once a stone is thrown into the water, the ripple effect goes through the water causing a vibration that travels on for a very long time. It is the same in life. When an idea and action is implemented in life, it will effect people many times over in ways that we will never know. This effect is The One Effect.

What is one thing that will change it all for you?
